smARTLab supports Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Programme (JESIP) National Training Exercise
In September 2014, working alongside members of the University of Liverpool Critical & Major Incident (CAMI) Psychology Research Centre, we collected image, video, audio and text data during the exercise. We developed a specialized iPad app over the summer (funded by CAST) in order to facilitate some of the data collection. We are now analysing all the data collected in order to provide recommendations to emergency services agencies about how Emergency Services Agencies can better make use of communication, AI and robotic technologies for decision-making during future incidents.

smARTLab@work wins German Open 2014 in Magdeburg
The smARTLab@work robocup team has won the German Open@Work competition 2014 in Magdeburg.
